Dating is going out for a meal/coffee in order to get to know someone, but you're not courting until you commit to that relationship as exclusive with the intention of finding out if you want to MARRY that person!!!  Courting is a process of WOOING the other person and finding out as much as you can about them and SPENDING TIME WITH THEM and LOVING THEM with the long term goal of them becoming your partner in Christ for life, which is completely different to dating which is really DECIDING IF YOU WANT TO COURT THEM!!!   Hope that's clear and God Bless in Christ Jesus!!!
